France through a viewfinder: Paris

Note. Postcard shots from each stop on my trip in France will follow as a parallel series alongside Devouring France.

Whilst winter may have dawned on Paris, with a cloudy gloom veiled over the streets for much of the days, one will never grow tired of its beautiful canvas. Although I did revisit some of the tourist hot-spots, I spent more time indoors at galleries / museums, enjoying the night-scape, and also detouring to the Versailles Palace.

Have you walked the Canal of St Martin? Made famous in Amelie, where she skips stones.
