Photography #12

Natural Selection

No matter how small, things will survive. I love how the small flower is reaching towards the sky amongst all the grass and other weeds sprouting from the pebbles.

I’ve noticed too that I seem to have a particular bias towards shooting with big aperture (i.e. narrow depth of field) – really captivating.

Location: my drive way.
Camera: Canon EOS 550D
Lens: Canon EF-S 17-55mm f2.8 IS USM
Aperture: 2.8
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/200

  1. I love this photo! My partner always gives me a weird, non-understanding look when I crouch down to take photos along the ground or for an extreme view of a tree of something. Haha 😛
