Mt Dandenong – trek, shoot and eat
The morning was quite gloriously sunny with the warmth pouring over the horizon. Heading East to Mt Dandenong for some lunch sounded like a great idea at the time.
The idea was to have a quick filler before a short trek. The only problem was finding a place to eat at peak midday lunch hour, with the condition that it had to be “dog-friendly”. A small catch was that the weather had markedly gotten colder, with a rather chilly breeze.
Nothing a bit of warm hearty food can’t counter ey? All else fails, make use of a dog-heater.
Now for a bit of walking… at Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens.
Note: Apparently quite a number of parks prohibit pets, so be wary of that when planning a trip with dogs =).
A lake? Ok, we’ll check it out.
Well, here’s the lake the sign was pointing to. Rather eery, but love the reflection though.
And did I mention Ms AY brought along her dogs? Cute!
Now that we’ve expended some energy. It’s time to replenish…
Harajuku Crepes at Knox. Mmmmm.
