Al’s photography #10 – a new lens, a new perspective.
Here’s a quick reel of shots from my newest gadget(s): Canon 550D & EF-S 17-55mm f2.8.
Still getting used to the transition from Nikon to Canon, but can honestly say I absolutely love the new found bokeh on the lens!!! And I can now finally take shots in low light without that aweful flash.
So now I no longer have far superior equipment lol
Looks good! Meanwhile I’m still toiling away with a point-and-shoot hahah.
We have the same camera now. We can share lenses. Ok go and buy the 24-70mm F2.8 L USM lens so we can share that. š
You made the right decision and you are working it well ;). Canon FTW!
Chiu – indeed ! =P
Leaf – once u have crossed over to the dark side, you can never go back
Thanh – hahaha, what’s the point of me getting 24-70mm?? when i have a 17-55mm L lens equivalent ey? if i need that extra bit of zoom i might as well go much longer =P
Ames – LOL, *high five*
Excuse me dear cousin, can you please go look up that lens before you say it’s no use š You will find that while the 17-55mm is great, you’ll want that 24-70mm like every other Canon user.
The overlap is rather redundant not to say it’s not a good range. If I were to get another lens I’d go more tele though to complement whatbi have. At least up to 200mm. =p
I still find pleasure in my point and shoot. some of my friends have wondered if i’m using one of those huge cameras. hehe
Wow, the pics are looking lovely! š Why the change from Nikon to canon though, just out of curiosity? š
partly coz of the nikon costs, partly coz all my friends have canon… makes for much easier “lens” borrowing HAHA
Traitor!!! NoOOoOOoo!!!!!! Hahahhaa…
Welcome to the world of Canon! Now that we have you, we’ll never let you go š
On a serious note, congrats on the new kit and I’ll look forward to seeing how you go with it š
